Love?

Love? The one who once believed in love. Believed those Disney stories to be true. Believed one day someone would really care. Didn’t realise it was all too good to be true. Now they wonder, was it only about holding hands, making promises they never meant, romanticising each moment with them? Well, the things that never came were the things I would least expect. What I expected was eternal love. The kind that stays even when not together. That remains even through the worst days. That shares laughter, but also sorrow. The kind of love that doesn’t need to be possessed to be real. But it never came. Now they believe some part of Pisces lies within each of us. And perhaps that’s why we keep believing in something that never seems to exist. But, it was all too good to be true.
