My inspiration is found in emotions, nature, and the beauty around me. Poetry is to express thoughts/feelings through imagery and symbolism.
Comfortable and slow I walk in the flooding downpour
Look up into the sky and wave a little “hi”
Then let it look down on me
And wash away what sadness is left in me
So that the brokenness and shame all falls silently away
And all that’s left is the rain that stays
To reveal a raw and dim light
